Stéphanie Ruth is an independent curator and art historian working internationally. She founded PARLOUR in London in 2022.

Her curatorial practice is informed by phenomenology and an interest in embodied perception, materiality and the relationship between objects and their surroundings.

Bringing historical and contemporary art into domestic and architecturally distinctive settings, she conceives exhibitions as environments in which the physical presence of artworks, their placement and the movement of visitors shape the experience of viewing.
